[News] Mobile World Congress – All of the Things

Mobile World Congress is underway in Spain, and the news and announcements are in full swing.  We will be covering all the major events with both links the official highlights here, and we’ll have a podcast that touches on the things we liked and thought were flops in a day or two.

For now, check out all the official stuff after the jump for new devices from the likes of Huawei, LG, and even Samsung!

Huawei announcements:

P10 – Huawei’s newest flagship device
Huawei Watch 2 – Huawei’s new sport style smartwatch with LTE connectivity

LG announcements:

G6 – LG’s newest flagship, and a big change from the LG G5 – more on this coming from us too!

Motorola announcements:

Moto G5 and G5+ – Two more mid-range offerings from Lenovo’s Motorola arm

Blackberry announcements:

Blackberry KeyONE mobile device – the Blackberry keyboard is back, baby!  This device is produced by a new company, and also runs Android (not the Blackberry OS)

Sony announcements:

Sony XZ Premium, XA1 and XA1 Ultra – Sony’s phones have been lauded for their great cameras, but they don’t often come to the US market.  The XZ Premium may be the same, sadly.

Nokia announcements:

Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and classic Nokia 3310 – Nokia and nostalgia; two words that both start with “n” – the 3310 gets an update and is back for lovers of candy bar phones to enjoy.  Yes, it also will play Snake, if you are into 2D games in black and white.

Samsung announcements:

Galaxy Tab S3
Galaxy Book – both of these devices are tablets that are on Samsung’s higher end market, designed to compete directly with mobile computing devices like the Surface and iPad Pro
