Photo comparison – iPhone X versus Pixel 2 XL
Let me start off by saying I think these are both tremendous cameras. That should be the starting point for any photo comp here – you can’t really go wrong with using either of these 2 devices’s cameras. But my intent is to showcase a bit of the differences in the primary camera of both of these phones, and let you as the reader decide what info you want to take from it. Below you will find some unfiltered and unedited photos taken on both the Pixel 2 XL and the iPhone X – who is the winner? Let’s find out.

Net neutrality has ended, but the fight for net neutrality has just begun
In a 3-2 decision, the FCC (under the leadership of Chairman Ajit Pai, seen above) has eliminated the previous Title II classification for ISPs and other telecom companies, and effectively ended the “net neutrality” era. But legal action has already begun, and this issue will likely be discussing in an on-going basis for a very long time…the below is from FreePress.net:
As someone who hopes to have a livelihood from using and accessing the internet, the ending of net neutrality is very concerning. But quite honestly, it should concern every single American that wants or has access to the free and open internet. If you don’t/can’t contribute to the cause monetarily, I urge you to contact your Senator & Representatives and ask that they support legislation making net neutrality into law.
Cheers!
Google holiday promo means good savings & goodies when buying a Pixel 2
Emails from Google hit yesterday talking about the great deals that can be had on Pixel 2 devices from now til the end of the holiday season – something you might want to think about for that tech gift loving person in your life.
This deal involves getting a free Google Home Mini with a Pixel 2 purchase, as well as a $100 Google Store credit when you buy, and potentially as much as $400 in trade-in credit when you trade in a phone when purchasing your new Pixel device.
If you have an old phone laying around, and are looking into buying the Pixel (and you can check out our video review of the Pixel 2 XL here), this is as solid a deal as they come. Head over here to the Google store if you want to dive in.
