In a 3-2 decision, the FCC (under the leadership of Chairman Ajit Pai, seen above) has eliminated the previous Title II classification for ISPs and other telecom companies, and effectively ended the “net neutrality” era. But legal action has already begun, and this issue will likely be discussing in an on-going basis for a very long time…the below is from FreePress.net:
As someone who hopes to have a livelihood from using and accessing the internet, the ending of net neutrality is very concerning. But quite honestly, it should concern every single American that wants or has access to the free and open internet. If you don’t/can’t contribute to the cause monetarily, I urge you to contact your Senator & Representatives and ask that they support legislation making net neutrality into law.
