The good folks over at Peel offered me a chance to review some more of their products; minimal cases for both the Pixel 2XL and the Galaxy S9.  I’ve taken a look at their products once before, in a quick overview, but this time I had a chance to spend several weeks getting a feel for how well their cases look and feel on both these devices.

If you are interested in their products, or want to get a closer look at these cases you can find them at this link to their website and make sure you check out the video and let us know what you think.  Thanks for watching!

Today’s Deal – Headphone charging adapter for Apple iPhones

We’ve been talking a lot of Apple products around these parts lately – which is unusual for us for sure.  But as many of you know we live in a world where Apple introduced us to a world without headphone jacks.  And sometimes that’s easier and more convenient, but more often than not, its just a plain old pain in the rear.  But there are some things you can do to help out with that, and today’s deal is one of those things.

You can save 20% off an ANTTUS charging adapater for iPhone devices, that will allow you to continue to listen to your lightning compatible Earpods while still charging your phone.  You simply plug one end of the 3ft cable into your portable battery pack or USB A charging adapater, and the other end into your compatible iPhone (iPhone 7 and above, including the iPhone X) and then put your lightning Earpods into the cable’s dongle adapter.  And boom! – you can continue to listen to music, podcasts (like ours!) or take and make phone calls while your phone charges away.

You can use this link to see the cable on Amazon, and use the promo code “20A3A4JH” to get 20% off at checkout.  It’s that easy!  If you’re like me, and need to charge your iPhone on the go with a portable battery, this could be a real time and hassle saver.  Let us know if you are interested in more “Deal’s of the Day” like this one, and thanks for reading!

New video on the channel!

As you may know (and if you follow our channel or this site regularly, you definitely know) I LOVE HEADPHONES.  Too much, probably.  Can someone love headphones too much, is that even a thing?  Anywho – I take to the YouTubes to unbox this next set of wireless neckbuds, and the best part about them so far?  The price.  For under $80, you too can own this set of wireless headphones from OnePlus, as soon as they come back into stock.  I’m going to be doing a full review, but it’s going to be hard to beat that price for sure.

Thanks for watchings, and be sure to drop us a like or subscribe to the channel to make sure you don’t miss the review as soon as it drops!

New video – Let’s talk Apple Hardware

Because you know I gotta say something, I thought about what I liked and didn’t like from the Apple hardware announcement, and yeah – they missed a few things.  In particular, I touch on 5 things that I think Apple missed the mark on.  Check it out, and let me know what you think.  Be sure to leave a comment, subscribe, and thanks for watching!

Apple announces new MacBook Pro hardware refresh

13 mbp ports

So – as is usual and customary, Apple lifted their NDA last night and media outlets were off to the races.  I’m working on a video recap of the details, but I’ll summarize the highlights below if you are interested.  Side note:  only the Touch Bar versions of the MacBook Pros will be getting this refresh – the non-Touch Bar 13″ MBP was not announced to have any updates as of the date of this article.

New Tech Vlog up on the channel

Sean P and I had this discussion the other day – but 2018 has been a bit of a down year for smartphones in general.  Many of the cool new features we thought we would see did not happen, or are coming to phones we won’t see sold in the US market.  I take a few minutes to rant about this in the deadly SoCal heat this weekend.

Thanks for watching – and if you enjoyed the video, make sure you subscribe and hit that like button.  Cheers!
